{"id":113655,"date":"2024-05-03T11:54:10","date_gmt":"2024-05-03T11:54:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=113655"},"modified":"2024-05-03T11:54:11","modified_gmt":"2024-05-03T11:54:11","slug":"isis-kills-13-government-affiliated-militants-in-syrian-desert","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/113655\/","title":{"rendered":"ISIS kills 13 government-affiliated militants in Syrian Desert"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>HOMS, Syria (North Press) \u2013<\/strong> Militants of the Islamic State (ISIS) killed on Thursday night 13 members of a militia affiliated with the Syrian government forces in the Syrian Desert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ISIS militants attacked three sites in the Syrian Desert and killed 13 members of the National Defense Forces (NDF).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The sites that were attacked are located between the town of al-Sukhnah and the village of al-Kawn that are within the administrative borders of Homs Governorate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Large areas of the Syrian Desert are controlled by Iranian-backed militias and the government forces.
