AFRIN, Syria (North Press)<\/strong> \u2013 An international organization, in coordination with another Turkish organization, has established a new settlement in near the village of Kafr Rom in the Sharran district in northern Afrin, northwestern Syria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new settlement is considered the second Turkish settlement within a few days and the third one in the same area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

North Press has documented the logos of the organization Helping Hand for Relief and Development (HHRD) and the Turkish organization (AFAD) on the walls and entrance of the newly opened settlement named HHRD Village.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new settlement consists of 500 multi-story buildings, making it the third one in the same village.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Turkey \u2013 along with its affiliated armed opposition factions, aka the Syrian National Army (SNA) \u2013 has been implementing a systematic policy of demographic change in the Afrin region since its invasion of the area in March 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Feb. 21,<\/a> T\u00fcrkiye Diyanet Foundation, a NGO headquartered in Istanbul, has completed the construction of a new settlement near the village of Kafr Rom in the Sharran district in northern Afrin, and\u00a0 laid the foundation for the construction of another settlement named \u2018the village of al-Madina\u2019 near the completed one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
