QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) \u2013<\/strong> Turkish attacks on critical civilian infrastructure in northeast Syria put livelihoods at risk and deprive population from electricity, medical care, and essential services, Human Rights Watch (HRW) reported on Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the crisis in northeast Syria escalates, action is needed to mitigate the humanitarian impacts on the civilian population, according to the HRW<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The HRW urged Turkey to immediately \u201cstop targeting critical civilian infrastructure, respect international humanitarian law and hold to account those responsible for serious violations.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The HRW also called on all countries to \u201caddress the plight of the region’s populace even if other conflicts are dominating the headlines.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
