{"id":110774,"date":"2024-02-02T10:38:50","date_gmt":"2024-02-02T10:38:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=110774"},"modified":"2024-02-02T10:38:51","modified_gmt":"2024-02-02T10:38:51","slug":"fresh-israeli-airstrike-targets-damascus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/110774\/","title":{"rendered":"Fresh Israeli airstrike targets Damascus"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) \u2013<\/strong> Israeli forces launched on Friday fresh airstrikes on some points in Damascus, Syria&#8217;s capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Syria&#8217;s state-run news agency, SANA, cited a military source of the Syrian government forces as saying that the forces intercepted &#8220;an Israeli aggression that targeted some points south of Damascus and downed a number of the hostile missiles.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The attack was launched from the side of Golan Heights, and that Syria&#8217;s &#8220;air defense shut down some of the missiles,&#8221; the source added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The airstrikes caused material losses, according to the source who did not mention any casualties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Israel goes on launching missiles on sites in Syria. The strikes have been intensified since the start of the Israel-Hamas war on Oct. 7.
