This comes following a visit by a team from the agency to the HIC\u2019s office in Cairo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">HIC is a global non-profit network dedicated to advocating for and protecting human rights related to habitat, ensuring safe and dignified living conditions in both urban and rural areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In August 2023, North Press issued a joint call with HIC regarding the water crisis in northeastern Syria to the U.N.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">HIC operates by fostering solidarity, facilitating communication, and enhancing the capacity of social movements and organizations. In addition, it plays a crucial role in influencing international public policies and placing important issues on the global agenda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">HIC seeks systemic change, develops transformative practices, rules and standards, and advocates for them as means to achieve social justice and improve living conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3
