{"id":107037,"date":"2023-11-02T07:26:41","date_gmt":"2023-11-02T07:26:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=107037"},"modified":"2023-11-02T07:27:33","modified_gmt":"2023-11-02T07:27:33","slug":"aanes-official-urges-to-end-turkish-attacks-on-syrias-kobani","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/107037\/","title":{"rendered":"<strong>AANES official urges to end Turkish attacks on Syria&#8217;s Kobani<\/strong>"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>KOBANI, Syria (North Press) \u2013 <\/strong>An official of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) urged on Wednesday the international community to stop the Turkish attacks on the city of Kobani, northern Syria, which stood against the Islamic State (ISIS) eight years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Nov. 1, 2014, a group of Kurdish fighters of the People\u2019s Protection Units (YPG) and the Women\u2019s Protection Units (YPJ), within a few neighborhoods in Kobani, were engaged in a fierce battle against ISIS, which had seized control of vast areas of the city.
