{"id":106678,"date":"2023-10-25T12:07:19","date_gmt":"2023-10-25T12:07:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=106678"},"modified":"2023-10-25T12:07:21","modified_gmt":"2023-10-25T12:07:21","slug":"clashes-between-sna-factions-leave-4-injured-in-syrias-sere-kaniye","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/106678\/","title":{"rendered":"<strong>Clashes between SNA factions leave 4 injured in Syria&#8217;s Sere Kaniye<\/strong>"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) \u2013<\/strong> Heavy clashes erupted on Wednesday between two groups of the Turkish-backed armed factions, aka the Syrian National Army (SNA), in the countryside of Sere Kaniye (Ras al-Ain), northeastern Syria, over a dispute on narcotics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A patrol officer of the Military Police in Sere Kaniye told North Press clashes occurred between an armed group of the Hamza Division and another of the Sultan Murad faction in the town of Mabrouka in the west of Sere Kaniye.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This came after militants of the Hamza Division seized amounts of hashish belonging to the commander of a military group of the Sultan Murad faction in Mabrouka, the source noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The clashes resulted in the injury of four people including a woman. The wounded were taken to the Sere Kaniye Hospital. The injured woman is in critical condition, according to the source.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is the fourth clash that happens in October with varying reasons. These clashes result in material damages and injuries among the locals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The city of Sere Kaniye and its surrounding areas have been under the occupation of Turkish forces and SNA factions since 2019 after launching a military operation dubbed \u2018Peace Spring\u2019.
