It is the third one in August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jordanian state-run al-Mamlaka TV channel quoted cited a military source of the General Command of the Jordanian Army as saying, &#8220;the border guards, in coordination with the Anti-Narcotics Department and the military security agencies, detected an attempt by a drone to illegally cross from Syrian territory to Jordanian territory, and it was shot down inside Jordanian territory.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The source pointed out that after intensifying the search and inspection operations for the area, the drone was found and transferred to the competent authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In mid-August, the Jordanian Armed Forces said they had <a href=\"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/102836\/\">shot down <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/102836\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/102836\/\"> drone<\/a> loaded with explosives in the Eastern Military Zone, coming from Syrian territory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the same month, the Jordanian forces shot down a drone carrying a quantity of &#8220;crystal&#8221; substance, according to a military statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Jordanian army has intensified its operations on the border with Syria in recent months, especially with regard to monitoring and controlling drug trafficking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Jordanian army stressed that they are continuing to deal with any threat on the borders with force.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>By Hozan Zubair<\/strong><\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) \u2013 Jordanian authorities announced on Monday that they shot down a drone coming from Syrian territory.
