Erdogan was due to arrive in Saudi Arabia on Friday, according to the Turkish presidency. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Reuters, the three leaders are expected to oversee the signing of a joint defence agreement that has been under negotiation for months. While officials have not disclosed the full details of the accord, it is expected to expand military and security cooperation among Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Pakistan at a time of heightened regional tensions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The summit also follows a series of high-level meetings between Ankara, Riyadh and Islamabad in recent months, during which the three countries discussed expanding cooperation in defence, trade, energy and regional diplomacy. Turkish and Pakistani officials have repeatedly emphasized their commitment to strengthening strategic ties and coordinating on regional developments. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Saudi Arabia and Pakistan maintain longstanding security cooperation, while Turkey has expanded defence and economic relations with both countries in recent years.
