Coronavirus update: 113 new coronavirus cases in Syria’s Autonomous Administration-held north east

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – The Health Board of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) announced on Saturday the recording of 113 new infections in addition to four deaths of coronavirus cases in its areas.

Jiwan Mustafa, co-chair of the AANES Health Board, stated that a male and a female from Amude as well as two men from Qamishli and Hasakah died of coronavirus. 

He added that the new recorded infections were 65 males and 48 females: 21 in Raqqa, 20 in Manbij, 15 in Qamishli, 13 in Hasakah, eight in Derbasiya and Amude, seven in Derik, six in Tabqa, five in Remailan, four in Kobani and Girke Lege, one in Deir ez-Zor, and one in Tirbespi.

Mustafa declared the recovery of 15 cases were also recorded

According to the new the statistics on new cases of coronavirus in the Autonomous Administration regions, the number of infections has risen to 1120, of which 52 died and 328 recovered.

The Health Board announced on Wednesday the recording of two deaths from coronavirus in its areas, and new recorded infections were 30 males and 33 females: six in Hasakah, eight in Qamishli, 12 in Derik, six in Amude, five in Derbasiya, two in Jil Agha, one in Rimelan, 12 in Raqqa, eight in Deir ez-Zor, two in Kobane, and one in Tabqa.
