HAMA, Syria (North Press) – A young man lost his life on Sunday in a landmine blast of war remnants in northwest Hama, western Syria.

Local sources from the area told North Press, “A landmine exploded with a young man in a tractor while he was working in a farmland near the village of Khirbet al-Naqous in al-Ghab Plain, northwest Hama.”

The sources added that the explosion killed 21-year-old Anas Ahmad al-Saeed who hails from the town of Allej in Idlib governorate.
