Turkish shells hit villages in Syria’s Aleppo northern countryside

ALEPPO, Syria (North Press) – On Friday, Turkish forces and their affiliated armed Syrian opposition forces, also known as Syrian National Army (SNA), targeted several villages in Aleppo northern countryside.

A local source told North Press the Turkish forces targeted the village of Ibbin, affiliated with Sherawa district, with five shells.

The source added, “The shells fell down on the outskirts of the village and cultivated lands.”

It went further saying, “The Turkish forces and the SNA factions also targeted the village of Tel Madiq and Shahba dam in Shahba region with several shells, reporting only material losses.”

In the evening, Syrian government forces targeted with four missiles the vicinity of Azaz Hospital in the northern countryside of Aleppo, according to the same source.

The villages in the northern countryside of Aleppo, for months, have been subjected to successive shelling by the Turkish forces and the SNA factions affiliated with them, reporting material and human losses, as well as spreading panic among residents.
