Russia bans Boris Johnson entering its lands

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Russia’s foreign ministry has announced on Saturday banning the British prime Minister, Boris Johnson, and 12 other British government members from entering the country following sanctions imposed by Britain.

The ministry said the decision was made “in view of the unprecedented hostile action by the UK government.”

The ministry clarified the reason behind the decision as being “London’s unbridled information and political campaign aimed at isolating Russia internationally, creating conditions for containing our country and strangling the domestic economy.”

“In essence, the British leadership is deliberately aggravating the situation around Ukraine, pumping the Kyiv regime with lethal weapons and coordinating similar efforts on the part of NATO,” it added.

The list also included Liz Truss, Ben Wallace Dominic Raab, Grant Shapps, Priti Patel, Rishi Sunak, Kwasi Kwarteng, Nadine Dorries, James Heappey, Nicola Sturgeon, Suella Braverman and Theresa.

Other retaliation moves by Russia included blocking interest payments to foreign investors who hold government bonds, banning Russian firms from paying overseas shareholders and preventing  foreign investors who hold billions of dollars’ worth of Russian stocks and bonds from selling them.

The latest move comes after the prime minister set out a plan of military assistance to Ukraine, involving 120 armored vehicles and new anti-ship missile systems in addition to £100m worth of high-grade military equipment.

The Russian-Ukraine war has entered its 52nd day amid continuous financial measures by the West to damage Russia’s economy.
