Water station in Syria’s Raqqa bombed by Turkey

AIN ISSA, Syria (North Press) – Turkish forces and the affiliated opposition factions bombed on Wednesday the water station in the town of al-Hesha, 50 km east the town of Ain Issa in Raqqa northern countryside, northern Syria, with heavy guns. 

The shelling caused almost total destruction to the station, leading to water cut off to the town as well as 50 other villages, North Press reported an administrative official in the station, who preferred not to be named. 

The station, according to the official, needs $125,000 to be restored, and that they will start working on it immediately. 

The Turkish forces and the opposition factions continue to target health and vital facilities in the town of Ain Issa and its countryside in northern Syria.

On December 4, 2021, the silos of the town of Ain Issa and the gas station on the M4 Highway east of Ain Issa,  were bombed by Turkish forces and opposition factions which led to it being out of service. 

The town of Ain Issa and the western villages of the city of Tel Abyad and other areas in north Syria are frequently hit by the Turkish forces and opposition factions supported by them.
