Turkish forces, Turkish-backed factions carry out attack on Syria’s Ain Issa: SDF
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – On Friday, Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) said that the Turkish forces and the Syrian factions affiliated with them conducted an attack north of Ain Issa, northeast Syria.
“The Turkish occupation and its mercenaries conducted a ground attack on the village of Sayda, north of Ain Issa,” the center added.
“Our fighters countered the attack leading to violent clashes that are still ongoing,” the center noted.
On Saturday, SDF said that the Turkish forces and the Turkish-backed armed factions are continuing their provocative moves in the countryside of Sere Kaniye (Ras al-Ain) and Tel Abyad using heavy weapons and drones.
The Turkish occupation shelled the villages of Tel Amir, north the town of Zergan, with heavy weapons, forcing villagers to stop working in their agricultural fields,” the SDF Media Center said on November 15.
