Syrian government-held areas record 20 new coronavirus cases
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – On Thursday, the media office of the Ministry of Health of the Syrian government recorded 20 new coronavirus infections and three deaths in its areas of control.
The government’s media office stated on its Facebook account that the new deaths were one each in Damascus, Aleppo and Deir ez-Zor.
Meanwhile, the media office announced the recording of five new recoveries.
The new cases were four in Aleppo,
three each in Suwayda and Homs, two each in Damascus, Latakia and Quneitra, Hama and Rif Dimashq.
The total toll of the infections in the government-held areas has come up to 24,743, including 1,804 deaths and 21,658 recoveries.
