Russia Military Police patrols in northeast Syria’s Derik

DERIK, Syria (North Press) – On Tuesday, the Russian Military Police conducted a military patrol in Derik countryside, northeast Syria.

A Russian military patrol roamed in the northern and western countryside of Derik reaching the village of Ain Diwar and returned to its bases in Qamishli, local sources told North Press.

The patrol consisted of three armored vehicles without air cover.

On May 1, the Russian forces conducted a military patrol in the northern and western countryside of Derik, in conjunction with an American one in the same area.
