Syria’s AANES suspends its annual conference sessions to Tuesday

RAQQA, Syria (North Press) – The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) suspended its annual meeting to Tuesday, to complete discussions about its agenda.

The AANES posted on its official Facebook account that the suspension of the conference work comes to set the Executive Council’s work plan for 2021.

Berivan Khalid, the co-chair of the Executive Council of the AANES, said that the meeting will result in important decisions and a comprehensive work plan for the year 2021.

The AANES published its report coinciding with the second annual conference of the Executive Council that started its work in the city of Raqqa on Monday morning.

Ilham Ahmed, the chair of the Executive Board of the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) and members of the civil democratic administrations of all regions of north and east Syria attending the conference.

The annual report, published on AANES website, mentioned the activities and work carried out during 2020 in the administrative and organizational fields and in the fields including health, public services, infrastructure and the environment.
