37 thousand IDPs from northern Syria into Raqqa

As military operations increase upon the Turkish military invasion and its affiliated armed opposition groups on north-eastern Syria, the tragedy and complexity of the humanitarian crisis also rises, in addition to the violations committed by Turkish forces and its affiliated armed groups against citizens in Tal Abyad (Gre Spi), and Ras al-Ain (Sere-Kaniye), where Thousands of people were forced to flee into the city of Raqqa to seek safety and escape the war machine.
Um Muhammad, a displaced person from Tal Abyad, moved with her family to Raqqa after leaving everything behind, she said to North-Press: "We tried as much as possible to stay in our homes, because we knew that once we leave, the whole house will be looted."
Um Muhammad added: "There have been many bombings in recent days, which killed dozens of civilians, so we fled to the city of Raqqa without carrying anything of our furniture."
Ahmad al-Ali, another displaced person from Tal Abyad said that the situation in the city was tragic. "There were many explosive devices and explosives cars and motorcycles in Tal Abyad. The situation was unbearable," he said.
Al-Ali rented a house in al-Akrad neighborhood in the city of Raqqa with Um Muhammad's family, where the house include more than 20 people with no services.
Upon arrival in Raqqa, Ahmad al-Ali and the family of Muhammad were greeted by a relative, Hussein Abdullah al-Ali, who told North-Press about the situation of his relatives upon arrival: "They arrived in their clothes without being able to carry anything with them, following a booby-trapped explosion near their house," he added, "I rented this house for them where there is no water and no electricity, only walls that may shelter them."
The Social Affairs and Labor Committee of Raqqa Civil Council is working to accommodate the displaced people from northern Syria, where the director of Relief Office in Raqqa Civil Council Ahmad al-Ahmad told North-Press: "The Council is registering the names of all the people coming from northern areas. More than 6,952 family or about 37 thousand people.”
"11,000 food parcels and 835 mall cards, were distributed to our guests from the northern areas," he added.
The director of Relief Office of Raqqa Civil Council Ahmed al-Ahmad appealed to the humanitarian organizations to provide more support for the IDPs, stressing the need to provide support for the camp of Tal al-Samin, which was established after the closure of Ein Issa camp, to accommodate the IDPs before winter.
