Four American, three Russian patrols conducted in Syria’s Derik in week

DERIK, Syria (North Press) – Four American patrols and three Russian ones were conducted in the region of Derik, northeast Syria, this week.

US forces conducted two separate military patrols last Saturday in the Derik countryside, local residents told North Press.

One of them consisted of four armored vehicles, with two helicopters, crossed the northern countryside of Derik, while another consisting of three armored vehicles roamed the oil-rich southern countryside.

On Saturday, Russian forces conducted a military patrol consisting of two armored vehicles, without air cover, in the northern and western countryside of Derik and reached the village of Ain Dewar.

On Monday, American forces conducted a military patrol consisting of four armored vehicles, in the northern countryside of Derik, passing by the village of Ain Dewar, in conjunction with a Russian Patrol consisting of two armored vehicles, according to the villagers.

On Tuesday, the American forces conducted a military patrol in the northern countryside of Derik, passing by Kardmiya village.

The military patrol consisted of four armored vehicles, without air cover, crossed the village towards the northern countryside of Derik.

This coincided with Russian Military Police conducting a military patrol consisting of two armored vehicles in the northern and western countryside of Derik.
